Hi Everyone! I'm writing you from the fabulous (and warm!) city of San Diego! I am currently at the Special Event (TSE) 2009 Conference for Event Professionals! This annual conference and tradeshow is the place to be to find new ideas, gain some knowledge and network with other great event people! I am here with my fantastic boss, Michael Cerbelli, as well as two others from Total Entertainment! Arriving on Tuesday, this trip has already been a non-stop adventure! We are currently preparing for Michael Cerbelli's presentation: "Michael Cerbelli's: Hot Event and Entertainment Ideas 2009 TM" which starts tomorrow morning at 8:30am. I will be updating you on some great new finds and ideas from the tradeshow floor as well as general event news! I will also be conducting some interviews while I am here! This conference is something I look forward to every year; it is great to see familiar faces, meet new people and spark some creativity! Before rehearsals for my Michael Cerbelli's presentation I was able to quickly run through part of the tradeshow floor, below is one booth I really enjoyed! I can't wait to spend more time on the floor tomorrow and friday to gather more ideas, I will keep you posted on what I find! Until then, check these out:
After recently spending a family vacation in Hawaii, I have a great love for the beauty of orchids! They were everywhere in Hawaii and I found some here in San Diego too! Amy's Orchids have some beautiful designs and fun ways to use orchids at your events!
To the right, these orchids are strung together with glittery beads to form a curtain that can be used in numerous ways at events! So cool!
Below is a simple yet dramatic arrangement of twigs and orchids! Awesome!
